[Sidus TC Sync] Import Media

How to import camera and audio media into a Sidus TC Sync project and keep it organized.

Sidus TC Sync can work with common video media along with WAV and PolyWAV production audio. Import the folders that contain the original media rather than individual, selectively copied clips whenever possible.

Import a shoot

  1. Open or create a Sidus TC Sync project.
  2. Choose Import Media, or drag the media folders into the project.
  3. Add all camera media and all external audio files for the shooting day.
  4. Wait for analysis to finish before starting sync or export.

Keep media organized

  • Use one top-level folder per shoot day or card backup.
  • Preserve the source folder structure and filenames.
  • Avoid importing proxies, social-media exports, or transcodes in place of originals.
  • If an NLE will be used later, keep source media at the same path until XML import is complete.

A complete import gives Sidus TC Sync the best chance of finding all camera and audio sources that belong together.
