[Sidus TC Sync] Troubleshoot: XML Imports but Clips Are Offline or Out of Sync
Fix XML imports where clips are offline, shifted, or missing camera angles.
Clips are offline
- Confirm the original media drive is mounted.
- Check that files have not been renamed, moved, or transcoded after the XML export.
- Relink media in DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro to the original media folder.
- If a file is missing, restore it from the card backup and keep its original filename.
Clips are shifted or use the wrong timeline rate
- Verify that the XML preset matches the NLE and version.
- Verify the timeline frame rate selected in the NLE.
- Check the affected source clip's recorded frame rate and its timecode format.
- Re-export from Sidus TC Sync after confirming the timeline is correct there.
Only one camera angle appears correctly
Check that each camera had distinct, valid timecode and that all source folders were included in the Sidus TC Sync project. If multiple clips represent the same camera angle, verify the camera/angle metadata in your current release before export.
