The DEITY PR-4 is a portable field recorder built for professional production sound. It offers 4-channel input, 6-track recording, and 2-channel output with flexible routing, and captures high-quality audio up to 192kHz / 32-bit float. It supports AES digital input, works as a USB audio interface, and features built-in wireless timecode that pairs with the Sidus Audio app for centralized control of Deity ecosystem devices. This guide covers what comes in the box and what the PR-4 can do.
What's in the Box

The NP-F550 battery and SD card are not included. Plug specifications vary by region, and the physical product may differ from the manual illustrations due to ongoing updates.
What the PR-4 Does
- 4-channel input, 6-track recording, 2-channel output with flexible signal routing.
- 192kHz / 32-bit float recording, so you can rescue quiet or loud takes in post.
- AES3 and AES42 digital input support, plus analog mic and line inputs.
- Built-in wireless timecode (master or slave) using Deity's Bit Connectify sync.

- Auto File Save writes recordings every 15 seconds to protect against power loss or crashes.
- Sidus Audio app control over Bluetooth for centralized Deity device management.
