[DQC2] Display & Indicators

Read the DQC2 battery indicator LEDs, from active charging to fully charged, plus the high-temperature warning.

The DQC2 shows charging status through the four battery indicator LEDs at each slot. This guide explains what each light state means, from active charging to fully charged, and covers the special green flash used for half-charge mode. For the charging procedures behind these lights, see [DQC2] Charging & Operation.

Reading the Battery Indicators

Each slot has four battery indicator lights that report charge level and status. The table below summarizes each state.

Indicator state What it means
Charging The 4 white battery indicator lights flash in sequence during charging. The flashing lights show the current charging progress, displayed in four sections: 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%.
Fully charged The 4 lights in the battery slot are steady green.
Battery connected The power indicator at the battery slot displays the battery's current charge level.
Waiting for charging (splicing state) While a spliced charger waits its turn in the queue, the indicator displays the current battery charge level rather than the active charging animation.
Half-charge mode entered When you press the button five times, the LED flashes green three times to confirm the DQC2 has entered half-charge mode.

Turning the Indicators Off

The charging indicator switch also lets you turn the battery indicators off while charging, which is useful in dark environments or when the lights are distracting. The battery keeps charging normally with the indicators off. Press the button briefly again to light the indicators back up. For the full button behavior, including forced charging and half-charge mode, see [DQC2] Charging & Operation.

High-Temperature Warning

If the charger overheats, the indicators become an alert. When the device temperature reaches 65C, high-temperature protection stops the output on all ports and flashes all charging indicators. Once the temperature drops below 45C, the software resets and normal charging resumes.
