Polar Patterns and Polarization
The BF1 behaves as an omnidirectional antenna: wherever your transmitters are on set, the antenna will see them. There is some rejection off the top and bottom of the antenna, but in practice you can treat it as an omni.

The top and front views show broad, near-circular coverage across the horizontal plane, while the side view shows the figure-eight nulls above and below the antenna.
